Since 2001, Hollywoof Pet Resort has provided a safe, personalized boarding experience for dogs in South Lakeland. Formerly known as Sunny Days Pet Resort, our peaceful location offers a calm environment away from busy traffic while remaining conveniently close to local landmarks and pet resources.

Under new ownership since 2019, we’ve continued to grow with a focus on comfort, safety, and quality care. Every dog is different, which is why we tailor each stay to fit their unique personality, behavior, and needs.
SAFETY ALWAYS COMES FIRST
We keep playgroups thoughtfully managed and never overcrowded. Large and small dogs are separated during playtime to help create a safer, more comfortable experience for every guest.

As we continue expanding and improving our resort, we’re excited about future plans including cat boarding services and even more ways to care for your pets like family.
Owner Carine is originally from Orlando, FL. She has spent 31 years overseas, 20 of which she worked for the United States Army. During her last 9 years in Belgium, she managed a boarding kennel where she boarded pets owned by U.S. service members and NATO allies. She and her staff boarded dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds and turtles. In 2018, she decided it was time to return home and continue her passion and work in caring for household pets.
Hollywoof manager Kaitlin has dedicated her life to caring for animals. Before joining the Hollywoof team, she spent five years volunteering and working with a local nonprofit animal rescue, where she helped care for a wide variety of animals, including horses, ponies, peacocks, donkeys, pigs, dogs, and occasionally cats. She still volunteers there whenever she can.
Kaitlin is certified in Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid and is always looking for opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills in every aspect of pet care. Her passion for animals extends beyond work—at home, she shares her life with dogs, cats, and turtles, making animal care a true way of life.

Your pet will have the chance to make new furry friends at Hollywoof Pet Resort! Our mission is to provide socialization and love during their stay with us, no matter how long. We do not keep your pet in kennels for extended periods of time.
